Hair Removal

Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal that works by pulling the hair out from the root rather than from the surface of the skin, resulting in having the area hair free, smoother and soft skin lasting between two and six weeks.

We advise our clients to exfoliate a few hours before waxing as this will help any hair about to break the surface of the skin to come through.

A thin layer of wax is spread over the skin followed by a paper strip which is pressed on the top and then removed, resulting in smooth and hair free skin. Warm wax is great for larger parts of the body, including arms, legs, back and chest.

After Care

• Avoid having a shower or bath for the first 24 hours
• Avoid swimming or any gym activities for the first 24 hours
• Avoid wearing any tight clothing for the day to prevent irritation
• Apply aloe vera to the treated area if necessary to cool the skin down

Our hot wax treatment is perfect for areas of the body that has thicker hairs that may be too stubborn to remove by warm wax. Hairs on the pubic area and underarms which grow thicker than other body hair are best removed with the hot wax for a cleaner and smoother result.

After Care

Threading is a great alternative to waxing if your skin is sensitive because it targets individual hairs keeping skin irritation to a minimum. Threading is available for both men and women for the whole face including eyebrows and the neck.

After Care

• Avoid touching the treated area for 2-4 hours.
• Avoid any makeup around the treated area for 2-4 hours
• Avoid steam treatment or any type of heat sun bathing / tanning beds, hot baths or sauna for at least 24 hours.
• Avoid swimming or spray tanning 24-48 hours post threading.
